As a long term fan of British TV I have zero issues with shorter series. A story doesn’t need to be 22 episodes. My problem is the 3-5 years between seasons. Paradise and The Pitt do it right.

I've used Google for decades and Google Music knew what I liked. I'm switching to Apple so they don't. Checking music videos and they are playing all sorts of new to me stuff but so far it's all been by old guys that were around back in the day and zive never seen. Maybe I can broaden my horizons.

Today the traffic was so bad that I went from being over 30 minutes early for work to 5 minutes late. Thankfully my job doesn't care. However I absolutely do and being 5 mins late for anything messes with my head. I am a very punctual person.

Have spent the last two weeks trying to get the three inches of solid ice off my driveway with no luck. Today I tried again but could not get it all. So I went in the house, got an old military knife and just stabbed the hell out of my driveway. Ice removed. My wife thinks I'm a psycho now.

My wife is staying with her elderly mother tonight since she is not doing well. I'm home all by myself with my boy for the first time in a long time (a decade at least). I no longer drink. Not sure what to do with myself. I guess watch movie. He is asleep.

I absolutely preferred the first two seasons of disco and the last but even the middle stuff is pretty great Trek. Section 31 was very nope to me as well. Starfleet Academy has certainly started strong.

As a huge Trekkie I will say I enjoy all Trek, some to a lesser extent. I was for the first time not actually looking forward to a new series. Having seen the first episode now I really enjoyed it. I'm actually excited to see more. (Would have watched both but was finishing a book)
