I've used Google for decades and Google Music knew what I liked. I'm switching to Apple so they don't. Checking music videos and they are playing all sorts of new to me stuff but so far it's all been by old guys that were around back in the day and zive never seen. Maybe I can broaden my horizons.

Today the traffic was so bad that I went from being over 30 minutes early for work to 5 minutes late. Thankfully my job doesn't care. However I absolutely do and being 5 mins late for anything messes with my head. I am a very punctual person.

Have spent the last two weeks trying to get the three inches of solid ice off my driveway with no luck. Today I tried again but could not get it all. So I went in the house, got an old military knife and just stabbed the hell out of my driveway. Ice removed. My wife thinks I'm a psycho now.

My wife is staying with her elderly mother tonight since she is not doing well. I'm home all by myself with my boy for the first time in a long time (a decade at least). I no longer drink. Not sure what to do with myself. I guess watch movie. He is asleep.

It's been really nice being off work since December 15, 2025. Today is my last day, tomorrow I will start a new project and actually need to learn how to use Arc GIS Pro. Unsure how to enjoy my final day of freedom.

Going to give Blue sky another shot. I'm so fed up with all the negativity and complaining on Threads. (I'm aware this is a complaint) Maybe I'm just not cut out for social media. It is however more or less my only connection to the outside world as I'm very introverted.

Yesterday at the gym my trainer had a brain fart and basically doubled all my weight for almost every exercise. I don't like to complain so I just did it all. I learned 2 things. 1. I need to go up in weight on most exercises 2. OMG I can hardly move today, everything hurts.

When looking at an item in an online store does anyone find it helpful when you get the "We see you looking but you forgot to order" email you get later helpful? I find it absolutely horrifying and it makes me want to never order from that company.
