It's early Saturday morning here in Taiwan. I'm reading my feed and keep seeing Leo said this and Leo did that (opposite of this) and wonder is Leo that 2 faced. Finally figured out that one Leo is Leonard Leo and the other is Pope Leo. Please fully label them so that I don't go crazy.

Taiwan is a wonderful country. We get pink cherry blossoms twice a year (spring and fall). Actually the fall blossoms don't come from a cherry tree but they are just as nice to look at.

Having mostly moved from "The other place" to here in the past couple of weeks I seem to have garnered a number of wine followers. Most of you are probably more knowledgeable then me but I will pass on one truth that I have learned. Watch for and beware of drunken ducks.
A wooden wine bottle holder in the shape of a duck. The bottle's opening is between the duck's bills and the wine bottle is supported by the duck's feet. The effect is that the duck is drinking the wine straight from the bottle

Saw this article posted over in Mastodon by Alex Bardsley. I have had wine from this area. They also produce a small amount of Pinot Noir that is guite nice. Like the Gamay talked about it is light but it does go very will with the food here in Taiwan. www.euronews.com/culture/2024...
