New dream scenario for the little guys if City somehow win this argument could be that PL have to rewrite their financial rules to either admit it’s barely been used to help overspending and is purely to restrict investment, or if it’s about fairness then capping everyone equally.

So am I right that it sounds like City found a financial loophole (just like selling your women’s team to yourself, or interest free shareholder loans, or saddling club with debt etc etc), but it’s basically too good a loophole or the PL just don’t like it. So technically didn’t break any rules.
