As with everything, the answer is more nuanced. His party is the most popular but when you look at the numbers he only commands around 25% support. The rest of the pack is fractured, much like the country. If there was a strong contender to take him on then people would rally around them.

In my benevolent dictatorship, rolling news channels will be banned. Instead four news programmes of up to an hour each will be permitted per day. That should cut down on waste and the need to constantly fill time with superfluous information and helicopters filming trains arriving at stations.
