Some awful decisions from the referee and VAR tonight, but the performance was nowhere near good enough. Can’t afford to lose at Stamford Bridge on Saturday now. Hopefully Mainoo is back!

Strange I haven’t seen much anger about 12th place Palace qualifying for the Europa League

010

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

Struggling to imagine how we could be any worse with Mainoo or Garnacho up front. Hojlund doesn’t offer anything.

120

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

What the fuck is McCoist on about?! Clear dive

020

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

This is embarrassing. It was hard to believe we could get worse than we were under Ten Hag, but Amorim is having a good go at it.

121

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 26/01/2025

Another dreadful performance, but we were seriously overdue a huge slice of luck like that!

040

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

After some of these misses from United, the Rangers equaliser is feeling more and more inevitable

020

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Another outrageous decision. That foul never gets given if it’s a goal against us. Can’t catch a break.

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 19/01/2025

Dreadful again. This really isn’t working at the moment, and something needs to change quickly or we will be in a relegation battle.

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

Incredible performance with 10 men against 12. Brilliant from Bayindir after the mistake for their goal, and serious balls from Zirkzee to score the winning penalty after the hard time he’s had. Get in!

030

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

An all time shocker from the referee

170

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

Bruno! And another excellent assist from Garnacho!

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

Arsenal are a horrible team. Constantly diving to win free kicks, the snide fouls that don’t get given, taking an age on every set piece. Tony Pulis’ Stoke were more interested in playing football.

043

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

This ref is doing my head in, falling for every little trick from Arsenal

120

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

Excellent performance. Hopefully a sign of what Amorim can do with this squad if he actually gets time on the training pitch! Noticeable that, despite it still being Mazraoui and Dalot, the wingbacks played far more on the front foot than they have been. More of that please!

030

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

Michael Oliver has decided it’s time to make the game about him

061

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

Unbelievable finish from Licha and hugely deserved. This has been a brilliant performance, but a long time to hold on now…

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

Hoping for the game to be called off today, which might be a new low as a United fan

030

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 03/01/2025

Looking forward to this final, hopefully it lives up to expectations. Come on Littler!

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 01/01/2025

Ludicrous opening set from Littler. He is on it tonight.

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

Amorim got this horribly wrong. I understand wanting to persist with his system, but Casemiro and Eriksen as a pair DOES NOT WORK. Two defensive full backs at wing back also clearly isn’t working. Either adapt the system, or change the personnel - look to the academy if necessary!

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

Hard to see Zirkzee coming back from that

010

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 29/12/2024

Peter Wright, that is sensational! This world championship is wide open. Love the darts.

130

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

Ridiculous game of darts!

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

Littler nowhere near his best for most of that, and then he just turns it on in the final set with a 141 average 🤷🏻‍♂️

131

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

Once again, we can take some positives from the performance. Individual errors continue to be a problem, but you can see what Amorim is doing. I think he might secretly be quite happy not to have the extra 2 fixtures!

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

That’s that then 😂

010

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

I feel like we had a good bit of control in that half and created the better chances, which is a far cry from where we were a few weeks ago. Get Amad on and this game is there for the taking.

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

I’ll be really sad to see Rashford leave, but it’s hard to argue that it isn’t best for all parties. I’m bored of the constant discussion about him at this point. There is still a top player there, but he needs a new start.

120

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 16/12/2024

United (13th) will go above Bournemouth (6th) if we win on Sunday. The table is stupidly congested after 16 games!

A far from great game, won by the best player on the pitch by a mile. Take a bow Amad!

020

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

Oh my god Amad what have you done 😱

020

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

Can’t believe VAR hasn’t looked at that for more than 5 seconds. Can believe Mike Dean is talking absolute nonsense.

110

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

Bruno is having one. Getting to the point where he just needs to be taken off

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

Devastating for Mount. It doesn’t feel like he will ever get over these injuries.

INEOS first 10 months at #MUFC - Extend ETH contract & sack him, costing £millions - Appoint Ashworth & sack him, costing £millions - Unprecedented ticket price rise - Mass redundancies - Overseeing worst on-field results since 1980s (28 league games, 35 points from takeover)

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Just how much money did INEOS burn this summer on decisions that they’ve already backtracked on? The money raised from increased ticket prices is a drop in the ocean compared to the price of their incompetence.

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

You just can’t make mistakes like we did today. Amorim must be furious.

Man Utd (1.74) 2-3 (0.78) Nottm Forest - @xGPhilosophy on X

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

I hate that I allowed myself to be optimistic after the manager change, meaning that a loss like that makes me angry again. Only saving grace is that I didn’t pay £66 to be there today.

020

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

We’ve been much worse since he took Ugarte and Bruno off

010

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

How is it only 7 minutes?!

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

Not sure what it’ll take for this team to stop conceding Sunday League goals. Multiple players making catastrophic mistakes consecutively. Shambles.

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

What the fuck is that

000

Dave @davemt.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

Being terrible at defending corners is going to be a thing now then

The bar is obviously low after the absolute state of us in EtH’s last year but that was pretty good in terms of organisation, discipline and restricting Arsenal to really just a couple of set piece chances. Not much happening going forward but I’m… surprised people seem surprised by that.
