There’s not enough mechs taking centre-stage in sci-fi books, and that’s a real shame because they’re awesome. I’ve gained a new appreciation for them since playing Armored Core VI last year, and I ev...

WHY Why has ANOTHER new idea popped into my head? I already have a sci-fi thriller WIP, and a sword and magic fantasy series WIP. I have another sci-fi thriller idea (unrelated to the WIP), and another fantasy series planned. I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER IDEA TO WORK ON RIGHT NOW. Sigh. Damnit.

So, I've finally caught up with the Scrubs revival/reboot/whatever it's called. I love it. The nostalgia is real but the show stands up even without that. The balance of comedy and drama is fantastic. And the latest episode? I haven't been hit that hard since My Screw Up. I was not prepared.

Today is a big day. I'm finally ready to reveal Proof of Content, my freelance service. Case studies and content writing are my specialities, and I built myself a website for it this week. I've questioned myself a lot over this but it feels right. Am I ready? No. Am I committed? Absolutely.

Some of the covers I made myself...
Be cover: Photo of an aged paper with burnt edges in the center, black fancy script that reads "Be" & in a smaller font below that "by Ellie Lieberman." Above the paper is a blue glass bottle at a slant, cork pointing downward. Below the paper is a horizontal knife with the tip of the silver blade pointed left. Sprigs of rosemary are at the top and bottom. Wooden background.
Where the Heart Is cover: letters written on parchment background. Cascading lace along the right side. Rosemary tucked into it in the top right, thyme in the lower center, and rosemary along the bottom. Ammonite spiral shell below the thyme. Next to top rosemary is a pile of sand with a pine cone, hour glass, heart jewel, and a pearl. Next to bottom rosemary is a dried violet. Top left corner has a paper snowflake and a dried rose tucked beneath it.
White script reads: Where the Heart Is between top rosemary and middle thyme.
Ellie Lieberman between middle thyme and bottom rosemary.

An Impossible Dream cover: Photo of a vintage book laying on it's side, pages facing out, on a stone background. Lace draped over the top in front of three melted candles, also on the top of the vintage book's cover. Two of the candles are lit. Sewing pins and purple violet flowers are scattered on and around the vintage book. "by Ellie Lieberman" is in a white colored pretty script font above the vintage book. "An Impossible Dream" is in the same font and color on a slant below the book.
Oath Keeper cover:
Black velvet background. I'm the center is a golden dragon egg, surrounded by a ring of white, pink, and orange flowers, such as daisies, baby breath, mini lilies, and more. Curved above that is the yellow glowing words in an all capital handwritten font, reads "Oath Keeper: On the Other Hand."
Below the egg & flowers is a horizontal knife, wooden hand toward the left, bronze blade pointing right.
Below that in same font reads: Ellie Lieberman
