Good man. It’s amazing what sometimes happens on a CQ on a random band. Especially when these solar events occurred.

Wow. I love this. It’s cloudy here. I’ll turn the rig on, just to get the Aurora on the screen.

Greg, KJ6ER, inspired my bunkers antenna and, Joeri, ON6URE, pointed towards the obvious. 4 radials. No PVC covering. PTFE on the radials. And boy, does it perform. #hamradio

Spot on. Here are the stats.

I do adore these amateur radio versions of golfing holidays. How much drinking can you get in?

Too funny 😆 Lyndon, G0DUI, agreed for go away on holiday with his wife. She was excited. Until she heard it was Newark.

I’m going to splash the cash on an RF.Guru receive only antenna. I can’t make on anywhere near as good. He has some strong evidenced data.

Willi - I’ll be working with a leading uni on this from Oct. We are currently running huge datasets. Findings so far. Just call CQ and don’t over think it. The general forecasting seems worse than 1980s weather. Thoughts?
