It's funny because we had like 6 good governor candidates but everyone was afraid to challenge Mills for Senate. Real 2016 vibes.

I'm seeing a lot of "that's it, democracy is over." Stop.There's a big difference between saying "this is horrible and extremely dangerous" versus "we might as well give up." I will not quit until an election is cancelled. They got rid of Orban, we can oust Dumpster. I know hope is passe on here.

I guess the biggest irony for me with all this, is that liberals are supposed to be open and fair minded. BlueSky, with this Maine race, has shown me the "woke mob" does in fact exist, and it's insufferable. It's this obsession with a purity that doesn't exist in political reality.

Seconded on the South. Most recently the TX primary comes to mind. I love Jasmine Crockett, it looked like an obvious choice to me, but they chose Talarico and I had never heard of him. They might know something I don't. Rather than disparage them I was like, "ok Texas, prove me wrong."

I'm seeing Platner signs all over the state--in city and countryside alike. Graham is going to win in a landslide. I don't think it will be close. It's inspiring and heartening, after decades of Susan the cynical snake, to see voters believe in someone again
