Went to Granite State Comic Con, and found random keychains of two (Taiki and Haruka) of my favs, plus a tiny Fish Eye. I can’t speak for Fish Eye, but the other two appear to be legit!

Acrylic keychains Taiki Ko, Haruka Tenoh, and Fish Eye from Sailor Moon.

It does have (what I just learned) peach leaf curl. Apparently the peaches are safe to eat, but I’m going to be to treat the tree with some spray when it’s dormant this fall. I also need to figure out how to keep the bugs and animals off it.

June 1, 2001 (25 years!!) Moulin Rouge premiered in the US. I saw this movie on my first ever date and was obsessed with it immediately. I thought (and still do) that it is the highest form of art to exist, and it really inspired my creativity to make art (and more Geocities websites).

There are two very important things to me are celebrating anniversaries today. June 1, 1998 Sailor Moon premiered on Toonami. I happened to catch the first episode out of the blue and was instantly hooked. It inspired me to create art, and got me into making some sweet Geocities website.

Why are the “big names” in the Sailormoon fandom so gatkeepy and act holier than thou? He didn’t put Viz down, he said he just likes the nostalgia of the original, and you put him down for that. He wasn’t hating or invalidating your opinion. Just having a conversation.

I’m watching a long forgotten sitcom from 2000 called “The Trouble with Normal” and I was excited to see @mariabamford.bsky.social as the FBI agent love interest to Jon Cryer’s character. This show has been a lot of fun and I wish it lasted more than 13 episodes.

Does anyone happen to know what font this is? Unfortunately all the scans I can find are too low resolution for WhatFontIs and WhatTheFont to properly identify. I found that Publicity Gothic and Lemiesz have the right shape, however they have edges, where as the font I'm looking for doesn't.
