Even IF I use my 33.6k word count instead, I divide that by 250 and get 134.4 pages! Conclusion: I’M FUCKING WRITING A NOVEL!! WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF?!?! THIS WAS ALL FOR ONE PERSON!!!

The pages I have set are basically Microsoft Word size, fitting roughly 480 words per page. Let’s be VERY generous and round that up to 500 words per page. If I use a 250 word per page metric, then my pages DOUBLE from 87 to 174! That puts me on the verge of novel territory!

I wanted to write a story about some characters dealing with emotional baggage. It was going to be short at ~30 pages. That’s the minimum requirement of a novelette. I’M AT 87 PAGES (33.6k words) AND STILL GOING! THAT’S NOVELLA TERRITORY! I MIGHT ACTUALLY WRITE A NOVEL! (min. 50k words/200 pgs)

I mean, imagine if the government or banks just started kicking people out of their houses because “technically the people living there don’t own it”. It’s a shitty thing to do, even if the people getting kicked out get the money they bought the house with back.

The issue with this lawsuit isn’t whether or not we get a refund. The issue is the idea of companies like Sony just taking away games at any point, digital or not, just because. A refund is nice, but it’s only a band-aid fix to a much bigger problem. Buying and owning a game is a legal right.

1. Microsoft Office is subscription based and nobody wants to pay a shitty company 2. Gen AI is rampant in many things, including Office/Google Apps. This is one of the few programs with no Gen AI. 3. I’m not sure if Office follows this same issue, but Google Docs/Sheets requires internet access.

This was always expected but that doesn’t make it hurt any less. With Pokémon Bank shutting down in half a year, there’ll be no way to transfer Gens 3-7 (excluding FRLG) to newer gens AND we lose the only way to transfer from Gen 6 to Gen 7. Pokémon has become disconnected from the past.

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

That I will not disagree with. The attacks felt a little too fast paced, like it forces the player to rush through the attack, which ends up in them getting hit. Constantly.

I won’t argue opinion. I believe Knight is easier than Pink, ESPECIALLY after the nerf. That said the Knight does have an easy mode with the shadow mantle. Pink was technically fine before, she just felt like she was doing a bit too much damage in her attacks in comparison to the other SC bosses.

Like, he'll nerf the Knight's needle attack to oblivion, but Ch. 5's extra boss is fine doing 1/4 of your max hp every hit WITH THE HIGH DEF/RESISTANCE ARMORS ON!

Ok. The extra boss getting a harder mode is good but the nerf/easy mode is not what the boss needed in my opinion. Had Toby just reduced the overall damage by a smidge (say... 5%-10%) or made the thrown bombs' intervals just a couple frames further apart (3-5 added frames), that would've sufficed.

I mean, the closest Hammer of Justice gets to a hard mode is the extra attack patterns he adds when you do nothing but defend.
