I’m in MANCHESTER ahead of the first signing of my October tour at 1pm in WATERSTONES ARNDALE. The appropriately styled t-shirt that you can see me wearing was made by the Waterstones staff in Manchester for my events here last year. It survived to be worn again! 😂

Another review for Now You Don’t! By CARRIE. She liked the book’s darkness but found the sex scenes uncomfortable. I suspect she won’t be alone in this. This book is about magic and sex, and both are in plentiful supply! 😳 Read the full review here: www.goodreads.com/book/show/25...

In London for a couple of days with my son. Kicked things off with a visit to the Shard. Was enjoying the lovely views (and cocktails) until I glanced down and saw the HMS Belfast in all its glory… which was when my knees started to knock together!!! 😈 If you know, you know!!! 😜

The first Cirque du Freak book by Darren Shan. People on here like to say “be weird” and The Saga of Darren Shan/Cirque du Freak series is WEIRD. It subverted so many expectations for me, especially when compared to other contemporary child/YA and has managed to stick with me over the years.
