Didn't make it to the shop today, not that I have anything coming out this week, but still getting in some comic reading. Decided to check out Sunder Tome 1 after seeing the single issues being released. #Comics #ComicBooks

Not that I like the annoying phone calls & doorbell ringers but the only political messaging I've received so far for this municipal election is 2 automated phone calls from a guy running for school trustee. I don't remember ever hearing from the candidates running for that position previously. 🤔

I find more & more of my friends & acquaintances are responding to my "how are you doing?" with talk about high anxiety/stress & unable to sleep. It is not helping my own anxiety issues. Yet my therapist still wants me to get out & meet more people. 🤷🏼‍♀️

While talking to @ericxyz.bsky.social at Fan Expo Canada somehow the topic of the first comic I remember from my childhood came up. In the moment I could describe the cover but not the details of it. Because of how my brain works I went digging for a photo I took of it. Marvel Super-Heroes 80.

It irks me when I see/hear over & over again people saying "the UN gave up on the Paris Agreement/climate change goal" or whatever. I don't see it that way. It was the people & the governments we elected that gave up on doing anything, the UN is just being honest about the reality of the situation.

Eric even let me talk his ear off for a bit, basically telling him my whole life story.🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Upgraded my ACE vol. 1 so a friend of mine will be getting a gift.
