I didn’t even realize there was a lunar #eclipse this evening until I stepped outside and realized the clouds had vanished and there it was! 8x zoom, 10 sec exposure on iPhone just outside of Los Angeles. Phone cameras have gotten kind of amazing in recent years.

Today’s #bloomscrolling is … fennel! Flowering this time! … and that’s about it; it’s August in SoCal and things are pretty dry right now. lots of rules in corporate IT management make sense for some cases but are irritants for the atypical case. current example: a requirement to reboot everything every 3 weeks. Great for Windows, I guess (??). A major irritation for Macs or systems that have no outstanding patches.

[Alcohol, glassware, sunsets] The Last Word, and a lovely sunset. (Used the new Luxardo herbal liqueur since Chartreuse is so hard to find; comes out nicely. Bit less overpowering than Chartreuse.)
