@sam-pearson.bsky.social just published the first version of Black Death City, a skirmish wargame! I have been looking forward to it! Can't wait to give it a go! I've been following the progress of his game on YouTube and I have to say that it looks so promising! www.blackdeathcity.com

Not really happy with how the pictures turned out. Wifey jumped in with her awesome skills to help! Much happier with the results!

Finally finished the last Farstalker Kinband model! I kept this one last because it is by far my favorite in the lot. Someone may have bought more Kroot models 🫣 I'll be posting proper pictures of each model in the next few days 📷 #KillTeam #Warhammer40k #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer

4-4 at Maastricht Warhammer Open! 8 amazing opponents. I'll drop the last day to spend so quality time with my wife and daughter, but oh boy, I can tell you I am 100% coming back next time! #killteam #warhammercommunity #kroot #farstalkerkinband #tauempire

Also this happened: my oppenent rolled 3 sixes for his attacks. I casually rolled 4 for mine. No rerolls. (Don't try this at home.)

It's been a long time I have not been this excited for an upcoming wargame! I can't wait for @sam-pearson.bsky.social 's Black Death City to be out! His thoughts in terms of game design are genuinely interesting. Highly recommend his content to anyone interested in this topic. BDC HYPE!

This past weekend was Trolls & Légendes here in Belgium. First time we go to such a big nerd event with our daughter. So happy she likes it! Nothing quite like having your kid nerding with you! We both got a magic staff for the occasion 🧙

That looks like a big change for my favorite army! Not impressed by the prayer lore so far: I don't realize how big D3 mortal damage for every move is. And moving the +1 rend to a unit instead of an area looks like a nerf. The good news: no more having to cast trees! 🌳

Went to a team tournament not having played AoS for about 6 months (not a huge fan of the current version). I have to say that having such a great group of wonderful human beings in Team Biches made every second worth it! Had 5 great games with 5 amazing players. Can't ask for more! ❤️

Honestly, I have no expectations for this edition. In my opinion, the game lacks so much flavour... Latest books feel a bit better, but I don't know if it'll be enough.

Mostly in English. @blast-info.fr and Henri Berry talk in details about ICE and why this could be the beginning of a civil war. Highly recommend a watch.

"La Machine à Détruire" by Aline Fares and Jeremy Van Houtte: why do we have to stop finance. A powerful book about the mechanisms behind finance, and ideas about how to end them. A book that helped me to pinpoint where exactly are the people benefiting from capitalism the most. Highly recommend.
