Hmm…I just realized I may actually finally finish the Darkon campaign (lvl 1-15) I’ve been writing for about 2 years now by the fall. Just in time for spooky season! Now I just have to figure out if it’s worth doing all the formatting to put it on DMsGuild.

I could not have said it any better myself. At its core, its a rather simple tale, yet told in such a unique and brillant way to make it stand out. I have yet to find another book that matches its 'vibes' as the kids say.

"Can you explain the gap in your resume?" Ah, yes. That was shortly after I inadvertedly transformed Il Aluk into Necropolis and my essences was scattered throughout Darkon. In 3 years I was able to form corherent thoughts and in another 2 was able to manipulate some adventurers to set things right

And then I'm running adventures that matched the styles they prefer from there. Currently running "Lost City", which is a fun older adventure that part dungeon crawl and part learning about the different factions in this underground lost civilization.

I did that with one of the games I'm running via session zero. Basically, since I'm writing the other game I run, I wanted to run something already written and gave them a bunch of options and explained the theme of each. Ended up creating a city in Greyhawk together as the character's hub...
