Ha, I wrote the same this morning. It genuinely makes no sense for Kansas to be such a solid blue state - it's too suburban and too college educated. Marshall's flaws (corruption, healthcare etc) are tailor made for this political environment as are Hamilton's upsides. I'm a Blansas believer.

Yes, but we should push back against it and make clear that rhetoric is not ok within the party and the party leadership especially should be vocal about this. While the situation isn't the same as 9/11, the implication at home is the same - we should disavow bigotry no matter what.
