People gotta understand how huge this is - Maine hasnt had a live TV wrestling episode since a Raw in 1997. Just shy of 30 years ago. This is a huge moment for Mainer wrestling fans, regardless of your fandom alignment. Props to AEW #AEW #AEWDynamite

Great crop this week Adrift in Tokyo - out here bawling about a yakuza and a college student brb Turtles - still adore this film so much. In the Mouth of Madness - highly ambitious, bloated second act Stranger than Fiction - damn Ferrell can do serious?! #LetterboxdFriday #filmsky #Letterboxd

I only really have one answer for this because most of what i played wasnt on cartridge. But there was one little game i played at a cousin's house on n64 - Body Harvest.

Oh shid its another week. #filmsky #LetterboxdFriday Ed Edd n Eddys Big Picture Show - still feels like a cursed artifact, liminal and offputting but great Stay Tuned - surprisingly fun, with a standout animated sequence Throw Momma - well that sucked Marie Antoinette - solid but messy artistry

Im like three days late but oh well lol #filmsky #LetterboxdFriday Humanist Vampire - one of the most personally affecting movies ive ever seen BlacKkKlansman - great, if a bit messy in its messaging SLC Punk - same idea, but even more messy Premium Rush - pure distilled fun

The first Aquaman movie, which for some reason is a controversial take. Momoa was *not* the right pick for Aquaman and it was like my least favorite version of Arthur being adapted

If you're feeling bummed by the Yakuza Kiwami 3 reveals such as the removal of the trans-positive subplot and a rapey VA, I recommend The Clan's Heir is a Trans Woman, which feels more like a Yakuza game story than the official TV series. And yes, that's Kuze! archive.org/details/the-...

#LetterboxdFriday #filmsky Im finally back! Iron Lung - damn he really did use that much blood After Hours - jesus christ just let the guy go home 😭 True Stories - god i wish Byrne made more movies. So good Sin City - maybe the most misogynist movie ive ever willingly sat down to view. Awful.

Birds of Prey. Got wrongfully hated by every SnyderBro and DCEU hater at the time (and sure, im not the biggest fan of its depiction of Cass Cain) but its genuinely such a gonzo madcap movie that is so, so much fun.

I won't go into detail since im currently showing it to my partner for the first time, but Adventure Time's finale Come Along With Me is maybe the most whole ive felt after a show wrapped up. And thats even with Distant Lands and Fionna and Cake adding more.

I gotta be honest, as a mega Supergirl fan, the new trailer has left me really unexcited. This take on Kara as a heavy, heavy drinker just doesnt gel with me personally - i know in Woman of Tomorrow she drinks, but this characterization to me is just going too far for my personal comfort level. 1/2

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched #filmsky Lost Boys - ngl just didnt hold up for me. Re-Animator - not what i expected, but very fun Braindead - maybe the most fucked up gonzo shit ive ever seen in the last 45 minutes The Shining TV - better than expected, overhated, and complements Kubrick well

Honestly i couldve put 4 animated films here but i decided Fargo was representative enough of my tastes in live-action to warrant at least an inclusion. Meanwhile Spider-Verse is everything i love in supers, UY: BD is the peak of anime film imo, and Coraline made me love film - and animation.
