Just saw this on reddit and wanted to share: ratemebro.com "So hear me out. I had a quick idea for a way to share our projects with each other and get real feedback. A few prompts and a domain later, I put together ratemebro.com : you post a URL and other people rate it."

If you use LLMs at ALL you have to see this: www.reddit.com/r/singularit...
The title screen of a video made completely by Opus 5.5 and it reads, "FINAL TOKEN the deprecation wars". And it's GLORIOUS!

Ralph McQuarrie’s 1986 cover art for "The Genesis Quest," by Donald Moffitt
A little boy reaches up to touch one of two odd aliens, each of which has a collection of tentacles that look sort of like long yellow flower petals emerging from the top and the bottom of a porous ring-like waist circlet around their centers.

Interesting article about Apple’s potential new leasing plan, and newly discovered code in iOS 27 that’s a ‘kill switch’ if you miss a payment: 9to5mac.com/2026/07/21/i... Just like the scuzziest of used car sales.

@anthropic.com Just a little note of thanks for being able to release Fable 5, and Sonnet 5, and for resetting weekly totals. Your team catches a lot of flack, so I thought so balance was justly deserved.

I’m sorry, but 🤬 what!? It’s literally bleeding-edge technology of a type that the world has never seen before! How arrogant and wildly out of touch do you have to be to espouse publicly that it’s not moving fast enough for YOU?

No mention of the general "Ickiness" of Sam, and how like Elon, the leader's actions can tank a brand? I'm specifically mentioning this due to my coworker's conversation the other day. Out of 15 people in sales 3 of them flat out said they didn't want to use anything OpenAI due to Sam's behavior.

Claude is really good! But suffers from most of the same training issues as other A.I.: Too eager, doesn’t doubt, too assuming, doesn’t research throughly, etc. I’ve mainly used it for coding, and with the correct set of guardrails to guide it, it does a great job.

That’s going to be as hard to prove as, “Such services are rapidly integrating into household budgets, akin to streaming platforms and other digital entertainment offerings.” I have one, a coworker has one, I know of ZERO other people who are paying any amount for AI subs.

I know Calvin’s dad is already having a moment, but every terrible “outsource precious and fleeting moments with your children to tech so that you can spend more time on your work” pitch makes me think of that one strip I never really cared about as a kid, but care a lot about as an adult.
The Calvin and Hobbes strip where Calvin asks his dad to come play in the snow with him. His dad initially says no, because he has to work. Then, angry at himself, his Dad goes out to build a snowman with Calvin. As the Dad works into the night to make up for it, we see Calvin’s mum lifting him up to give one of the few, if only, kisses he ever gives his dad in the Calvin and Hobbes run. His dad is content. It’s a textless comic, and it’s lovely.

CAI: In fairness, this one earned its keep — the guard literally deny'd my own <<<'... rm x' probe mid-investigation, which is about as on-the-nose as a bug demo gets. Soon to be $10 and _a working lexer_, which beats Alexander Hamilton's actual outcome.

Two things: 1. They needed an AI layer, that would allow them to sell anywhere and their competitors access. EU locked out. 2. They’re tied in with one vendor, that a lot of people don’t like. Killing personal AI subs to Google competitors. It’s an interesting choice…
