Los Angeles is the city and county of the angels. The Light of God surrounds us. The Love of God enfolds us. The Power of God flows through us. The Presence of God watches over us and from within us. We are divinely protected.

If a missle hits California or any other state, we already know who is responsible:: Trump, and the Republicans who refused to stop him. Vote Democratic and vote AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Save the Election Day ritual for next time so there can be a next time.

Trump specifically mentioned a missle attack on San Diego an Los Angeles AGAIN tonight. The only ones Californians needs to be worried about attacking our cities are Donald Trump and his Republicans. Get your vote in ASAP!

We can follow statewide voter turnout at the California Secretary of State's Office. As of the first day, 16,000 ballots were in. Those numbers will begin rising sharply into the millions. But the system is working. So get out there and vote early! elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/statewide-el...

Since Trump has brought Los Angeles and San Diego together, you know what would really unite us? Frequent high-speed rail trains. By the way, the #Amtrak ride between the two cities is beautiful. #rail #California

Californians, Donald Trump just let us know that we are on the decoy plane. Vote Democratic and vote early.

010

Dan Wentzel @danwentzel.bsky.social · 13h

No, because then the Republican would win with a Democratic split. We need ranked-choice voting instead.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Michael Kearns. I had the privilege of meeting and working with him in an independent film I did called, Behind The Red Motel Door. He was out as a gay man back when so many actors chose to remain closeted. I hope he knew how many people he inspired.

Anyone who thinks that Trump wouldn’t sacrifice his own supporters in Southern California, or anywhere else, missed him sacrificing his own supporters at superspreader events during COVID and his leaving top members of his cabinet and staff behind to get blown up on the decoy plane.

Just as we switched to mail-in voting during COVID, switch to voting early this year. The earlier we vote, the harder to rig.

If any other world lead said something like this about their own country they'd be forced to resign, hiding in a bunker or flying out to a third country by midnight, the amount of abuse the US allows itself to take is actually insane.

“Los Angeles and San Diego” seem oddly specific for Trump to call on Iran to target. Almost like Trump and his fascist cabal have given the destruction of these cities some thought.

150

Dan Wentzel @danwentzel.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Trump just invited an enemy we are at war with to destroy 3.5% of the American population in Los Angeles and San Diego. Patriotic Republicans would call Congress back into session today to remove Trump from office. We no longer have patriotic Republicans serving in Congress. Vote them out.

Dan Wentzel @danwentzel.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Donald Trump just said in a speech that Iran can destroy Los Angeles and San Diego. This Californian just told Donald Trump what I think of him and his Republican stooges with my vote. Now go out there and stand up for California. Vote Xavier Becerra for Governor and the entire blue team!

Until we can make federal progress again toward universal health care, who we elect as Governors and to state legislatures matters more than ever for our healthcare.

010

Dan Wentzel @danwentzel.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

With Project 2025 having gutted Medicaid and the ACA, this is the current state of healthcare at the state level. The worst states for poor people are in grey. They also have had Republican state legislatures since 2010. Elect as many Democratic Governors and state legislators as possible.

With Trump and Republicans having broken so much of the Federal Government as part of Project 2025, much has fallen onto states. Who we elect as Governor and to our state legislature is so important. I appreciated this conversation between @mollyjongfast and @amandalitm youtu.be/zjPENWrV6aM

Donald Trump is not going to be able to declare martial law before the election. He doesn't have the legal authority and won't have the backing from Congress or the Supreme Court. The election is here. Early voting has started in some places and will continue to roll out across the country.
