i did draw your cat 🤭

drawing of danstillcreates' oc breeze. breeze is an anthropomorphic cat with blue fur and lighter blue markings. she wears dark blue wizard robes fastened with a bright yellow brooch and glasses. she is holding up a book called "1001 death curses" and smiling excitedly. she says, "The author of this tome succumbed to their own Bones-To-Balloon-Animals Curse. Isn't that FASCINATING?"

This weekend was rough. And scary. I hope I can draw something cute soon.

Would anyone like to draw my cat? I've been seeing people post "Draw this OC in your style" prompts for a while. Why shouldn't I do it too? Here's a dtiys prompt for Breeze. :3 (You don't have to draw her in this pose. Do what you'd like. Just keep it sfw.) #originalcharacter #OC #wizardoc

A picture of a blue anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe and large glasses. She is conjuring lightning with a white magic wand as she watches it excitedly. She is holding a blue book in her other paw.

Seriously, the idea of me doing it always feels wrong. It often pops up in the back of my mind though. I wonder if I should just do it. Just to show myself it isn't wrong.

Naming OCs and stuff isn't easy for me. I may have come up with a name for something I've been trying to name for months. I'm gonna give it some time and see how I feel about it later but I have a good feeling about it at the moment. We'll see.

😊Thank you! Happy Spooky month to you too!

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

#octhoughts I'd like to draw at least one picture of Breeze dealing with something spooky this month. It's seasonally appropriate to spook that cat.

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

It's October! So, I made my sona and the mini version of my sona a bit spooky.👻

A picture of my sona, a fluffy dragon wearing a hoodie, but as a ghost. He's glowing green and looking like he's trying to surprise you.

Behind him is a silhouette of a more monstrous version of my sona with a big spooky smiling expression on his face. He is also glowing green.

I'm not taking requests at this time.

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

#octhoughts I'd like to draw some more OC crossovers involving Breeze at some point. I haven't done that with her new design yet. OC crossovers are fun. :)

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

#octhoughts Yeah, I still want to draw Breeze. She's a fun character and I like drawing her. I like this cat.

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I drew Breeze again. Gotta be careful with those mysterious artifacts. #originalcharacter #OC #wizardoc

A picture of an anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe and large glasses. She is wearing a gauntlet with an eye on it and an ominous aura. She looks worried.

There's a speech bubble pointing at her that says, "Uh...It doesn't want to come off.".

JoyJoy's here! She's ready to celebrate your birthday...every day...forever... #originalcharacter #OC

A picture of a giant purple two headed snake with pink and blue spots on her back and party hats on both heads. She is standing on top of a giant cake and surrounded by sparkles and confetti. She looks very excited.

She is holding a blue anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe with her tail. The cat looks shocked.

#octhoughts October is coming up. Maybe I should draw Breeze in some costumes. I'll consider it. (I don't want to draw her dressed as specific characters though)

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

As fun as it is to draw Breeze in magical mishaps/situations, I'd also like to draw stuff like this more often to show her curiosity and enthusiasm. Just her doing her research and getting excited about magic stuff she probably shouldn't mess with. Of course stuff like this might lead to mishaps.

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Looks like Breeze got her paws on some cursed amulet. I'm sure this will be a very educational experience. (Don't worry. She'll be fine. She's wearing safety gloves.) #originalcharacter #OC #wizardoc

A picture of an anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe and large glasses. She is happily holding up two strange amulets.

There are speech bubbles pointing at her that say, "This one turns you into a blood thirsty monster! And this one turns you into a horrific abomination!".

The cat is holding the amulets close together. She looks excited.

There's a speech bubble pointing at her that says, "I wonder what would happen if I put them on at the same time!".

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Well, I guess this didn't happen. Can you blame me though? At this point, I don't know when (or if) I'm gonna give streaming a try. We'll see.

It kinda feels like I've been doing this even more now that Breeze has been redesigned. Yall still have to be nice to my cat though. You're gonna get in trouble if you don't.

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I'm also tempted to ask yall for outfit suggestions. I've done that before. If I decide to do it, I'll make a post asking for suggestions. :)

While drawing that picture, I wondered if I made Breeze too small. No, I don't think I did.

A height chart with front facing pictures of two characters. One is a blue anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe (Breeze). The other is a purple four armed dog-like alien wearing a blue dress, apron, and shawl (the Caretaker).

Breeze is 5 ft. tall. The Caretaker is 7 ft. 2 in. tall.

#octhoughts The temptation to draw Breeze in different outfits is growing. She's a cute OC. Why shouldn't I draw her in some cute outfits?

I wanted to draw another picture of Breeze and the Caretaker. Since Breeze is fascinated by all things magical, I think the Caretaker would use her powers often around Breeze just to make the time they spend together a little more whimsical. #originalcharacter #OC #wizardoc #alienoc

A picture of two characters. One is a blue anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe (Breeze). The other is a purple four armed dog-like alien wearing a blue dress, apron, and shawl (the Caretaker).

The Caretaker is walking with a tray that has a tea pot and tea cups on it. She is using magic to make Breeze float alongside her. Breeze looks like she's amazed by this.

There's a speech bubble pointing at the Caretaker that says, "Come along, darling. It's time for tea.".

#octhoughts Breeze is so cute! Why is she so cute?! Who's responsible for this?!

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

The key to accomplishing this goal might be to push JoyJoy's eyes closer together.

Five pictures of a toon snake wearing a party hat making silly expressions.

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

#octhoughts JoyJoy is one of my favorite OCs but her design is a bit out of my comfort zone. She's meant to look like a toon. Like a really toony toon. I don't usually draw stuff like that. I'll keep working on it. One day, she'll look as toony as I want her to look.

I can't control how people feel about my characters (nor should I) but if you assume my art is fetish art and treat as nothing but that, I'm not gonna want you around me.

Other Dollops have magical defenses related to their colors (red = fire and all that) but purple Dollops generate a seemingly random magical defense. It can be practically anything. That's what makes them so dangerous. Of course this utterly fascinates Breeze.

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

What if I gave Breeze a pet? Wobble is a rare and strangely powerful kind of Dollop (the slime creatures in the world of my wizard project). Breeze wanted to research Wobble and ended up getting attached. #originalcharacter #OC #wizardoc

Three pictures of two characters. One is a blue anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe and large glasses (Breeze). The other is a purple frog-like slime creature (Wobble). The pictures are:

- Breeze excitedly holding up Wobble while wearing safety gloves. There's a speech bubble pointing at her that says, "This is Wobble! He's a highly dangerous specimen!".

- Breeze petting Wobble.

- Breeze curled up while holding Wobble. They are both sleeping.

"Say hello to your new best friend!" Since Breeze has been redesigned, I can get back to drawing her dealing with JoyJoy's nonsense. :3 #originalcharacter #OC #wizardoc

A picture of two characters. One is a blue anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe and large glasses (Breeze) and the other is a giant purple two headed snake wearing party hats on both heads (JoyJoy). JoyJoy is surrounding Breeze and holding her with the end of her tail while looking very excited. Breeze looks startled and scared.

Behind them is a pink void full of sparkles and confetti.

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I'm tempted to create more OCs that can just pick Breeze up and walk away with her. JoyJoy's fun but perhaps I should have OCs that can put Breeze in different situations.

000

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I'm planning to make a little friend group for Breeze. I want to have more variety in it though. So if I create a skunk OC, they'll be the only other mammal in the group.

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

#octhoughts I've been thinking about making a skunk OC. Perhaps they can be friends with Breeze. Breeze needs friends.

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

It's good to hear you're okay. I hope things continue to get better for you and your family.

Since Breeze got a new design, she needed a new reference sheet. :3 #originalcharacter #OC #wizardoc

A reference sheet for my wizard cat OC, Breeze. She's a blue anthropomorphic tuxedo cat wearing a weather themed wizard robe and large glasses. In the reference sheet, there is:

- A picture of her excitedly holding up her wand as if she's about to cast a spell. She is holding an open blue book in her other paw.

- Circles containing the colors of her body and outfit

- Fullbody front and back side pictures of her. There's also a picture of her wearing a hood. Next to these is an indicator of her height (5 ft.).

- A white silhouette of her side view wearing her glasses, sleeveless shirt, and pants. Her tail is colored instead of being a silhouette.

- A picture of her wand glowing yellow with text next to it that says, "Wand glows when using magic"

- A picture of her blue book (it has a cat paw print on the cover), a picture of her book attached to her belt, and a picture of a pouch attached to her belt.

0153

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

#octhoughts I've been thinking about how Breeze interacts with the magical beings in her story. As scary as their powers might be, she's more scared she'll say something weird and insulting to them. At least their powers fascinate her. She'd rather get cursed than yelled at. Don't yell at my cat.

021

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Perhaps I should've done this after I redesigned Breeze. I wonder if people would have different answers now (even though she's still the same cat).

110

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

#octhoughts I'll admit I'm still excited about Breeze's new design. I just feel I did a good job with it. :) I should draw her again.

010

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Congratulations!!!🎉 These sonas are so cute! I love the way you draw clothing!

110

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Seriously, I got the idea for those glasses early in the redesign process but I couldn't make it look right. So, I scrapped the idea...or at least I tried to. It kept coming back. Eventually, I figured out how to make it work. I'm glad I didn't get rid of the idea. :)

011

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

#octhoughts Giving Breeze those big glasses may have been the best decision I ever made for her. :)

130

DanStillCreates @danstillcreates.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I'll draw Breeze getting a nice hug one day. For now, squish that cat.
