[milky kazoo noise from inside W.'s walls] The very first time I saw Buggle's design in "Welcome Home", I just knew I had to make a pull-along toy of him! 🐞🌼🏠✨ #welcomehome #welcomehomeARG

I once again finished another piece of wood burning, in combination with acrylics! This time my first-ever D&D character, Sköll! He’s basically retired as a PC, so I felt like drawing him one last time as he was.

Newt @newtafterdark.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I decided to take my favourite legendary Pokémon and give them the same wood burning + acrylics treatment I've been giving my favorite flowers! I'm especially happy with how Entei and the Unknown turned out! :>

Another project - priming and painting a bunch of magnets for the magnet boards I have! :> The first ones being Puppet Habit from the game "Smile For Me" and Ena from the "Ena" youtube series!

Recently, I had some time at work to make another wood burning with acrylics! This one features many flowers and plants you can find in my neighborhood. 🌼🌿✨

Newt @newtafterdark.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

The wood burning projects with additional acrylics continues with some blooming sunflowers this week! 🌻✨

Newt @newtafterdark.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

More wood-burning with some additional acrylics! I think this will turn into a series of my favourite flowers. :>

Add a bit of whimsy to your home by repainting old kitchen wall decor from the thrift shop with flowers of your choice! This will now hold small herb jars and paper towels & be pretty! Originally I wanted to strip the old paint off, but the dark blue is actually complimenting the buttercups nicely.

Something that I keep loving to do as little projects at work, are wood burnings with stain and a bit of acrylic paint. 🪻✨

Another fella joins the polymer clay figurine line-up: FinFin, based on the old toy design by Maru Yacco!

Sometimes you just need to make a little creative fella who'll sit oh-so politely near your spot at work, eyes full of wonder! 🎪💫 Feat. bonus Bubble magnets in the workshop where our heavy machinery is at! I trust him with the electric circular saw! :] #TADC #Caine #TheAmazingDigitalCircus

When you live in an area where merchandise of your current favorite online show is extremely hard to come by... you just gotta make some yourself~! 🎪💫 He's still WIP! He'll get properly put together tomorrow! :>

I'm working on my comeback to social media - but it's a slow progress between sickness and work. I do look forward to sharing my little project soon though! :>

Maybe I tormented Breeze a little too much last year. Perhaps I should give her a break from that. I think she'd like to spend some time with the Caretaker. #originalcharacter #oc #alienoc #wizardoc

A picture of two characters. One is a big, fluffy, purple dog-like alien with four striped arms. The lightest parts of her fur (neck fluff and the stripes on her arms and tail) have little sparkles in them. She is wearing a blue dress with a lighter blue apron and shawl (all three have light cream colors lace on them). The other character is a pale blue anthropomorphic cat wearing a blue wizard robe.

Both of these characters are on a pale cream colored bench that's faintly glowing. The first character is sitting down on the bench. The other is lying on the bench with her head resting on the first characters lap. The first character is petting the other character's head. They both look very happy.

Behind them is a night sky, dark blue grass, and trees with dark blue leaves and glowing diamond shapes.

I've started a project of collecting small frames and painting my favourite plants in them. So far I have Forget-Me-Nots and a poppy! :> (I still might add the German name to the poppy to mirror the forget-me-nots)

A nice wood-burning and acrylic paints project I finished and set up in my home recently: my Loki altar backdrop! 🐍✨

Found a wonky wood-hanging recently and got the chance to repaint it in my off-time at work with several of my favorite music album covers! :>

Got a job at the end of last year that takes up most of my time, BUT! I get to experiment with woodworking tools in the workshop, so I'll get to share many small crafts I finish! Like this badger pendant!

If an adult tries to guilt or pressure you into anything - GET OUT. BLOCK AND REPORT. ALWAYS remember you can say no to people, no matter how “cool” or “famous” they are. Your comfort and well-being ALWAYS comes first.

Hey. Kindly reminder. Content creators are not your friends just because you like their work. You do not know who we are. This goes double for anyone under 18; be very careful about interacting with adults. If any adult makes you feel uncomfortable, DO NOT ENGAGE THEM. RUN.

I know it's officially autumn when I start to listen to the Beetlejuice musical on repeat. And since I plan on handing out bug-themed candy and decorate my place for Halloween this year, have my old design for Beetlejuice trying figure out how to make some garlands for the season! 🪲🧡

I got a small notebook for my D&D notes - and I've decided to make a bunch of pages featuring my character's opinions on his party members! They'll feature little sketches of what each character would have to do to fluster Sköll into stopping all movement. So far I got Wig and Eelf covered-

Based on my earlier custom Hector cutout, featuring a rusty-looking vent, I really wanted to draw Hector in something based on the very old heating + ventilation contraption I have in the old German house I live in. #dateeverything #hectorvalentinoairnestocondicionado

It's been a rough time on my end, but at least it's behind me now. Two devastating years full of struggle and pain... but also keeping on walking and healing. It's time for a lot of new beginnings and perhaps picking up where I left off with some things too. Scary? Yes. But worth it? Absolutely.

Sometimes you get overly excited for a possible hero figure in your D&D campaign, knowing full well that her existing in the end is a 50/50 chance and very much up to the DM. Is she now just cut content? Nah, that’s a free OC, baby. 👀

If you're interested in learning a bit about my D&D boy Sköll's backstory, I posted a long thing detailing parts of it on my Tumblr today! ☀️✨ www.tumblr.com/newtafterdar...

Sometimes you just gotta draw your silly little D&D creature (in my case a Tiefling monk) bonding with their party members. Some of these moments he's still trying to make happen in the first place. Well, fingers crossed! 🤞

Newt @newtafterdark.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

When I say that my D&D character Sköll is a little guy, I mean it.

161

Newt @newtafterdark.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Hmmm... maybe I'll do a little Sköll sketchpage later & post it too. I love my little D&D guy a lot and since last session, there was a slight change to his looks anyway that I want to figure out how to draw! 👀

There's nothing quite like the realization that you're in the process of giving your D&D character the monk equivalent to grey sweatpants.

"Hey Newt, it's been a while since you finished one big illustrated piece - why is that?" Simple really. I am not normal during the sketch phase.
