Used to go out or order delivery every Friday but now the baby goes to bed at 7 and daycare costs as much as our mortgage so we do homemade pizza and we really nailed it this week

Yeah I respect the choice since they put reality tv, comedies, and dramas in the same pile but my guess is just that you couldnt get 100 passable entries in the 21st century without having one big shared pool

Yeah like watching it week to week was one of the better TV experiences of my life and I do think that counts for something!

Yeah I sort of cheat and rank them as one work because I don't thing BCS exists without BB even though it's the better show but I think BCS is top 20 at least

True Detective kind of breaks the whole thing open by allowing specific seasons/stories to be considered as standalone from their whole

I think Widow's bay is too recent, I'd need to see another great season to put it in top 100 contention personally

As with all lists like this, it can be tough to decide if you're rating based on cultural relevance/influence or quality and it feels a little inconsistent here

So many thoughts on this, mainly that I think Breaking Bad is more top 10 than top 5 (and certainly not number one). I think Fleabag gets pretty consistently overrated, Game of Thrones being top 10 is wild. There are a few inclusions I think will be embarrassing a few years from now

They were so representative of this super specific brand of sociopath that's popped up in every local progressive scene for the last 10 years or so

The biggest obstacle to adapting East of Eden is going to be taking a simple biblical allegory that was elevated to masterpiece status by Steinbeck’s writing and putting it on screen without it feeling slight and this seems like a decent way to try and do that

This one has had people up in arms but I think the actress playing Cathy should probably play her like she has a reason for the things she’s doing! Like I’d take issue with rewriting her as an antihero or something but trying to explain why she is who she is doesn’t sully the story for me

It’s the sequel to Thirty Dollars World which was pretty scary by 2018 standards
