Luckily I am only a little disappointed considering theres so much else to play rn outside of nintendo, but that direct was miss after miss after miss. I hate mid directs. Kinda just lets me know that there isnt a lot thats gonna interest me from nintendo for months in a brutal reality check way.

I play everything nintendo puts out for the most part (though I am maybe calming down on that as I kinda lose interest in this console in terms of new content). I did not want a new 3D Kirby tbh. Forgotten Land was good, not great. Very 7/10 just okay 3D Platformer. They gotta sell me on this one.

Ngl I hate feeling so negative after presentations but that Nintendo Direct was so so awful unfortunately. I hate that I am not excited for Kirby at all, but it did nothing for me whatsoever but be disappointing that it was the closer. Hyped for Metroid but thats it in terms of new games.

Overall though, I think there's always some positive through most years. Life won't always be perfect, but the rough patches are what make us who we are. We can't grow into better people if we don't have moments that make us learn.

But it's hard to say. 2019 was also rough. Job I had through that summer sucked ass and lots of weird ass friend drama that needlessly stressed me out. That continued through 2020 until covid hit, which funny enough, gave me the break I desperately needed

I don't think I have years that are nonstop bad. Any year I can think of, there was something majorly good that happened that makes it hard to pick. But maybe 2023? Both semesters of college knocked me down hard, but that summer oml. Tears of the Kingdom + started working on an amazing game project.

I decided to take all of April off from game dev endeavors to fully focus on college and other things in my life. Tbh I am dying to get back to work, but it has been good to give myself some room to breath. This semester ends pretty soon so I am excited to get back to our projects.

Yeahhh. Kinda makes sense from how limited the player count is. It’s like they are halfway to it being a mass multiplayer thing like Minecraft but didn’t want to commit
