This TUC post, which made me cry a bit, prompted me to watch Pride again (with mum this time). The end of this film, when all the miners coaches turn up to the Pride, always makes me well up. Is the musical any good?

When I moved here circa 5 years ago, awaiting internet, an Openreach engineer said there was fibre to *this pole*. Half a decade later I still can’t get FTTP. If I had the wherewithal a dodgy late night DIY ‘installation’ would’ve definitely happened.

Telegraph pole outside my window. Openreach tells me a fibre connection gets this tantalisingly close.
