Grateful to be included in this @elpais.com piece on Cuban-Americans who voted for Zohran. Our generation isn’t scared of the word “socialism.” We’re scared of rent, medical debt, and living on a knife’s edge. That’s why we’re choosing a different politics.

Eric Adams just handed $2B to a billionaire developer in an unprecedented sweetheart deal. Taxpayers shouldn’t be subsidizing real estate profits while families on the West Side can’t afford rent. Local leaders should claw this money back and put it to work for everyday NYers!
