Excited to leave town for a few days and celebrate my brother & nieces birthdays! She wants sushi which we will be Friday night & he wants to hit a brewery which will happen on Saturday. In the downtime I have concocted a playlist to rock some socks off. Good times ahoy!

You can count on America to America. A man died in a terrible rollercoaster disaster in Atlanta at Six Flags and people are fat shaming in the comments section. The guy in question looks husky but NOT obese to any level. A regular slightly bigger aging American. We need to be better & kinder.

I have always struggled with some sort of stomach nonsense. A horrible yet interesting discovery was how beer calmed some of the storms brewing in my belly, which led to excessive drinking. I have ironically calmed that down since becoming part owner of a brewery but the stomach issues persist.Cont-

The Cleveland sports media is funny. One guy has been about as anti-Watson (Deshaun, not newly signed Cavalier Peyton)& today he came & said he thinks they should stay with Deshaun. The man admittedly had a solid game last Sunday but it was ONE game. I know at some stage he'll get hurt. No thanks.

Anytime I listen to Rufus Wainwrights "Poses" I am instantly transported to 2001. Life for me wasn't in the best of spots in that era but that WAS the year I met my now wife. Listening to Rufus's lyrics, I think he was also trying to find himself In his later twenties. Life is like that.

I finally made it through the 1980's movie "The Formula". It is a quasi thriller featuring George C Scott & Marlon Brando. I got it in a collection & wanted to dig it but it's a bit confusing & slow. Both the actors mentioned do a solid job. Fun fact? They wanted Gene Hackman over Scott. Wasn't bad.

I love all sorts of music but especially stuff made in the sixties. Near the end of the sixties, David Ackles released an album entitled "Subway to The Country" & it is fairly unique in vibe. A song named Candy Man is dark & brooding & probably the worst song ever IF you wanted to be uplifted.

We recently lost our event manager & crew & for us that is important, so I tried to step in setup crew wise . My body said no.

In 1962, Marlon Brando starred in the movie Mutiny On The Bounty. I've always enjoyed the epicness of the film & I believe Marlon really did a most wonderful job portraying Fletcher Christian. Watching this time the music when they reach Tahiti also grabbed ahold of my soul. It's long but worthwhile

In terms of Cleveland Browns running backs, there were fewer greater than Nick Chubb. While I am never pleased that someone has to end their career, I am happy "Batman" has decided to retire. I wish he could have kept playing but the guy we saw after the major injury wasn't Chubb. Forever a Brown.

As a Cavs fan I initially wanted Kuminga over Watson as I had seen Kuminga play more frequently. Upon watching the highlights of Watson I am convinced that Koby Altman absolutely understands what this team needs & makes proper choices. I still think Kuminga is more talented but Watson fits better.

I am not saying I know anything insider wise regarding LeBron James BUT...the more I hear the more I feel Cleveland wasn't even close on his list. I mean...it was close because it was ON his list but I think it was 4th on that list. It sounds like Miami was very close to landing him before Philly.

In many ways I am pleased LeBron James decided to go elsewhere. He would have been compared to the 2018 version of himself & that wouldn't have been fair to him. I understand that because I was constantly compared to younger basketball me & it sucked walrus balls. Best of luck to him on the Sixers.

In 1968 the band Sagittarius which featured Curt Boetcher & Gary Usher came out with an album called "Present Tense". It has one of my all-time favorite songs from that era "My World Fell Down" which had a lead vocal from Glen Campbell. It is one of those unknown great albums you should own.

It seems as if the Cavs absolutely hit on this kid Meleek Thomas. He passes the eye test 💯 percent & seems able to do everything required by a pro on the floor. He also had an ELITE skill which is 3pt shooting as that jumper looks Klay Thompson smooth. Another late round gem by the Cavs! #Cavs

Both of the shows "Band of Brothers" & "The Pacific" are must watch tv for various reasons. For me, it really brings home the horrors of war & how if possible for human nature it would be best to avoid them....yet some things are inevitable. It also shows the resiliency of humankind & it's frailties
