I actually finished a project! The graphics are "holographic" which seemed like a neat idea until I put them on the blue rocket and they reflect...blue. The idea was to make it easier to see in flight - time will tell. It's a five finned rocket, hence the name "Take Five." Kit is a MAC Blackfly.

I passed a dead cat in the gutter on my way to the grocery store. Drove home a different way so I didn't have to see it again. Cats make perfectly good indoor-only pets, especially in cities. Please let Mario explain you the good news about the indoor cat life.

Mithril Aerospace HQ is set up at LDRS 44, although it is still extremely windy. The high winds are predicted to continue through most of the weekend. I don't know whether I'll fly today. Hooray for my eleven year old GTI getting 40 mpg hauling all this crap up here!

My Torellian Invader upscale is finally ready for launch at LDRS 44, with days to spare. Seen below it is the original Estes Torellian Invader I built as a kid in the 80s. #modelRocket #rocketry Note that the pilot is NOT Greedo, who is a trademarked property of Lucasfilm. He is a TORELLIAN.

#rocketry work in progress: On the left is the tail section of a rocket that crashed about a month ago after an electronics failure. It was built from a LOC kit (wood and cardboard) and now has a couple of cracked fins. On the right is a 3D printed replacement. (Issues in following posts.)

The tail on the right is very similar but 3D printed, with the tube, fins and rail buttons in a single piece.

Thinking this may *actually* be my last full playthrough of #BaldursGate3 so I'm making it a "victory lap" with one of the mods that removes the four-character party limit. I'm playing on the top difficulty (but not with any of the "even moar harder" mods) and just stomping everything. So much fun.

My new favorite way of killing Gortash, unquestionably the most gleefully killable character in the game. Karlach with the action surge trip attack and 5 more halberds to the face. Then, she stacks 4 powder barrels around his prone body and tags in Gale to detonate with a fire bolt. #BG3

The absolutely wrecked middle section of Gortash's room. The entire floor is covered with cinders, and everything that was once furniture is now splinters. An extremely dead Gortash is splattered at the foot of a large bookcase.
