This sucks. My policy is to tip 20% maximum allowed by expense policy and then tip extra cash on short rides. I drove Uber for like 3 days and after a giving a ride to a smelly guy and having to carry in a woman’s groceries for no tip, I quit and have a soft spot for ride share drivers now.

There’s something to be said for using plain language in communicating product value. The risk is that industry hype plus shiny object syndrome by customers draws attention toward those using buzzwords and the relative, boring products who don’t apply the buzzwords get lost in the noise.
