Big Sky Country. 🌄 The film I directed in Montana was so remote we couldn’t drive in. It took a two hour horseback ride to reach it. A first for me and my DP Tom (pictured here, rocking a gas-station cowboy hat). Stepping out of your comfort zone isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it.

Best coffee I’ve ever had came from a Panamanian mama on the side of the road while I was on a mission in rural Panama. I still remember the aroma. I’ll admit, I did end up with some stomach issues (probably the water), Totally worth it though. Some experiences stick with you in more ways than one!

Andy lives in a van on the side of the road in Assynt, Scotland. I met him while filming my next project. He invited me in for tea and a chat. His wife passed from cancer years ago, and now he spends his days surrounded by nature. Merry Christmas. May you find gratitude in whatever surrounds you.
