Yeah feels like the thumb is firmly on the scale against the Greens at this point, any outcome would’ve been spun as a negative imo. The press raised them up to get rid of Starmer, but now that’s done, the wrecking can commence.

this sucks. you want "restorative justice" as opposed to punishment, but what has he restored? what has he done? what does a youtuber losing his career for admitting to be a rapist have to do with carceral abolition when he has never and will never see prison time, or even actual consequences?

Being cryptic/specific BUT there’s definitely a difference between posting on socials Vs writing a 2000 blog. Especially as socials are inherently conversational, rather than “look at my big nuanced important thinkpiece”

I think what I resent the most is that all of us, especially the women who worked with him, were a part of his rehabilitation (at least image-wise) without us ever getting to choose if that was something we wanted to participate in. He didn't let us or his audience make a choice. How ironic.
