Just saw an ad for an Pink Floyd tribute band and can't help but wonder if we're at the point when we're going to see tribute band tribute bands.

Sorry for the confusion everyone. I thought "AMA" meant "American Medical Association."

He wanted the kitten poster. If only the car said "hang in there." That's the message he needed.

I feel that. I have so much art that I will never be able to display it all. I would need an entire WING of a very large house to even get close.

Yep. They didn't get funded the first time through so they did some re-engineering of the product and the campaign. Lowered the goal this time around and are already working with the factory for a quick turnaround.

Some misc: A Roger Clemens poster (I didn't really follow baseball but you had to have a guy so I picked the best guy on my local team). The Batmobile poster is the only poster I ever put on my ceiling (I was out of wall space). Joe Jusko Punisher which I forgot I had until this thread.

I backed it. Plenty of room on my shelves for some humans/zombies/skeletons in space suits. Check out Space Zombies From MARS! Red Dust II. by Adam Drake on @kickstarter.com www.kickstarter.com/projects/spa...

This is where I'm at. Also, why would I spend a second of my time reading something you spent no time on at all?

Yeah where's my "Earl Norem Edition" Masters of the Universe figures? I would throw away every MOTU figure I have if they did that.

Wow. I've never seen that Macross poster and it is GORGEOUS.

Lots of Earl Norem Masters of the Universe pulled straight from MOTU Magazine.

That Magik poster is s favorite of mine. Didn't have it as a kid but have since acquired it.

Some Art Adams X-Men. Gotta hunt down that Wolverine solo poster again at some point.

This was a 3 poster Jim Lee X-Men triptych. Unfortunately the only piece I still have is the middle poster.

As much as I love and collect action figures, I ALSO love and collect posters. The artwork really comes to life at the larger scale. First up, posters I actually had on my wall as a kid (and unless otherwise noted still own). Spider-Man and Wolverine by Todd McFarlane.

Was it something you said? Did a picture of Optimus Prime as a lion violate Meta policies?

The only thing that has changed with AI since 1987 is the price of the babbling babies.

Kids back then would have simply looked at them as a disappointing gift. since they weren't Transformers or Gobots. The Esso branding wouldn't have meant anything.

Return of the Living Dan @danlarson.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I've seen them. Heck I may have owned them in a collection at some point when I was a dealer. Just an indicator of how how transforming robots were in the early to mid 80s.

Yes. There's a new MASK comic series that started a few months ago. Not too late to catch up if you're interested.
