Still weird to think of these as being down to "a number remain in use" now. They were always omnipresent in train travel in the Corridor.

That lounge car interior SCREAMS 70s.

Meanwhile, back north of the border, it looks like the separatists are going to win in Quebec. Dan, Krista, and Alex will be disappointed. On the other hand, aside from a referendum in maybe two or three years, what will they do that the incumbents weren't doing already?

Same Bat time, same Bat channel.

I do like that they slimmed down the set dressing when they moved to non-convention centre venues.

120

I remember them always showing it being packed into a truck after.

Haven't seen anything. Did find another pocket watch sold online that was said to have been his.

000

"Thank you everybody, it was fun!" Yeah, I'd feel that way if I walked in with a pocket watch worth at least thirty grand. Let's ask the woman with the refinished Chippendale desk how much she enjoyed her day. #antiquesroadshow

073

"I can't prove any of this, and believe me, I've tried!" Good to see someone admit that up front. #antiquesroadshow

073

Still up in value, though. Not a bad outcome. #antiquesroadshow

122

Case in point. Now it's worth even less. #antiquesroadshow

033

They don't have as many doctored or faked pieces on #antiquesroadshow these days. Probably because the big wooden furniture era has faded.

Deeply disappointed that painting is down in value. How often do you see art from Australian aborigines on #antiquesroadshow in any country?

Czarist Russian artisans sure knew their enamel work. #AntiquesRoadshow

Pity that toy Pullman car interior is down in value. I love it. #antiquesroadshow

Took a while, but it got there!

000

Just one now, but there were two for a while.

I wonder how many musty old books are brought into #antiquesroadshow by people who think they've got a rare printing.

"Vhen der Fuhrer says ve is the Master race, ve heil *thpbt* theil *thpbt* right in der Fuhrer's face!" #antiquesroadshow

Had to rewind #antiquesroadshow a bit. Not at all shocked that that Staffordshire sculpture was down. That thing is hideous.

062

I always think stuff that qualifies as antiquities will always keep its value.

I'm waiting for the guy from Mass who says "cahving".

Yep, cable always includes border city affiliates. I get Buffalo, Detroit, and Seattle. The stations in northern Vermont and Plattsburgh, NY actually have more viewers in Montreal than in their own territories.

They're "what's the stuff worth now" shows, but I do love that #AntiquesRoadshow is back, at least on PBS.

I'm amazed it kept its value. I was sure it would be down.
