Probably a bit too messy, but I've been playing around with #pixelart send ups to old pov dungeon crawlers. This one is hand sketched with a #NES palette and (almost the right) resolution, perspective, gradient mapping, and dithering. Like if Eye of the Beholder came out in the 80s.

I was sent a sneak peek at some of the material and I'm really digging it. Most importantly he lists "Jaquays" and "Weird" as his first two design principles! I mean...come on...we know the priorities are in the right place here. (Also, I just love the Necromancer art)
