But I doubt anyone will do that analysis, because the people with the skill and data infrastructure to check that hypothesis are usually using it for stuff that would only be undermined by the conslusion that the most accurate predictive model is "team with the best record is probably gonna win."

I watched the first season in like two days, and one of my big takeaways was that, while the show is not especially stupid, it is written in a way that seems to assume the audience is. Like, characters recap and explain the plot every few scenes.

I can't pretend there's any objective logic to my morals. I value human life, then dogs, then basically all other animals in that order, entirely based on a sort of intuitive sense that we have an implicit agreement with other people, and only slightly less so, specifically with dogs.

My biggest concerns about industrial agriculture are more ecological than strictly ethical. I think people underestimate the amount of good that could be done by just reducing the amount of red meat produced and consumed, even if the difference was made up by poultry.
