Jesus, this week is a gut punch of celebrity deaths.

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

The irony of me making the decision to pull the trigger on one of these finally to support this move, and them being sold out... Still, love this!

I am such a mark. I immediately preordered Stage Tour with the pro drumset, guitar, and wireless mic...

RIP to Dolly, a genuine national treasure who I thought might live forever. What a career, what a life, what a legacy.

Another thing, I also really respect actors and the work they do but……. chill out y’all… the method acting, the self-aggrandizing… You aren’t curing cancer or solving world hunger, you’re pretending to be another person for a few weeks/months. It’s art, and powerful, but come on now.

I’m honestly good with CEOs saying the quiet part EXTREMELY out loud, because then I know who and what to support.

Anthony Bourdain would’ve had something to say about the AI/data center boom… god I wish he would’ve held on.

I also have 50 blank CD-R discs on the way, so you bet I'm going to burning Dreamcast games like a real 90s/00s pirate.

Currently listening to a CD on my newly acquired Sega Dreamcast. No, it's not 9/9/99... It's 2026 and we're thriving over here, baby.

It doesn't cost you anything to be kind. It costs your soul to be anything other than.

Watching highlights from the Argentina-England game after watching it and it’s just insane what Messi is doing. And his teammates! The passing is incredible. Then it’s like he’s resting until the right moment and all of a sudden completely takes over. So lucky to be alive at the same time as him.

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

RIP Sam Neill, what terrible news to wake up to. I can tell based on my feed than this man was important to so many people, just like he was to me. This is up there with Anthony Bourdain for me in terms of formative impact. Always looked forward to his next role or next social media video.

I've been rooting for Messi to get another, but...... this is too much fun. Bring on the chaos!

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Wild to think that it may be time for Argentina to question whether Messi should take the PKs...

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

We wouldn't have won anyway, but I do genuinely wonder how Tim Ream is the best we could do at center back. Dude was a liability back there.

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

People will say stuff like "No, you should keep supporting Xbox for the people who are still there!" When, in all actuality, it doesn't matter how well or how badly a game performs, those people are at the whim of their ax-wielding leadership. I was already done with Xbox, this just confirms it.

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

I wish Mbappe had more class. He’d be easier to root for and be more likable. Have to assume Ronaldo fans are also Mbappe fans. Incredible players though, can’t deny that!

The trailers for The Odyssey are not doing it for me for some reason…

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

The best part of this is blaming the "current components crisis" that Microsoft has a HUGE ROLE in... nice try on that one.

000

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

I know hardware/component costs are a factor, but continues to be wild to me that the answer to "consumer electronics sales are struggling" is to RAISE THE PRICE. We already can't afford basic necessities, and y'all think we'll spend $750 on an Xbox? You're out of your minds.

On another note, this is a wild stat:

000

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

Ronaldo is a great player, no doubt about it, but he must be insufferable to play with. Constantly complaining, constantly calling for the ball when he's not in a good position for it, etc.

110

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

Compare Mbappe and Haaland to Messi. Never Ronaldo.

000

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

That was the best game of the Cup so far. Super fun all the way through.

000

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

These would be awesome if, you know, you could see more than a ring of color on either Joy-Con.

000

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

And now I won’t be buying it.

000

The Tupac thing really truly sucks. There’s nothing funny about it to me. His estate should be ashamed of themselves. Let him live on through the music.

I own two complete in box Wii U’s. Just something important to know about me.

Our entire economy is based on a company/brand having a good enough idea or just doing well enough to get acquired for millions of dollars, following by that company/brand being ran into the ground.

I've been out of the Destiny 2 game for too long, so reading the update didn't make it clear whether this is happening or not, but... My dream would be to be able to go back and play D2 from the beginning while unlocking each subsequent add-on story. When it got too complicated, I peaced out.

If anyone other than Matt Johnson was doing this, I would be much, much, much more skeptical. But I think this could actually be good:

What people somehow seem to be forgetting about Resident Evil is that the games have branching storylines that overlap. Just because this first movie is from the perspective of a new character, doesn't mean there couldn't be future ones with Leon and other characters involved.

Josh (aka Danjer) @danjer047.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

Unsurprisingly, Noah Kahan's new album is great and somehow perfectly captures the melancholy and general sadness of the era we're living through.

This is an incredible game. I highly recommend it.
