There was an abundance of mushrooms, just not the ones I was looking for. Always nice to just enjoy them when you grt a chance though!

Rusty brown chanterelle mushrooms (Turbinellus floccosus) which unfortunately for me aren't edible

A strange indigo mushroom (Cortinarius traganus) that grew in clusters, very magical to see something purple in nature

Some tiny orange mushrooms growing amongst the lichen (idk what type)

A mushroom that looks like chewed up pink bubblegum with jam in it (Hydnellum peckii)

A few more pictures from my trip into the forest. I was looking for chantrelles, to no avail, but I did find some cool different mushrooms

Honestly, Ive been taking a lot of pictures of the moon lately. Gives me something to do in the dark hours before I can do regular photography

I love the PNW, especially as Autumn approaches. Temps dropping, rainy nights, leaves starting to change color. I get to break out my flannels, coats, and long socks, and enjoy my coffee outside.

For some reason when I went out yesterday, the clouds were 2 colors at the same time. Probably had to do with the sunrise, but I'm not sure

Ive been thinking about a project like that since last October when I got this picture that looked like it was taken outside of Riften due to all the autumnal aspens

Im on my once a year Skyrim kick and this time to spice it up a little bit, I wanted to tie it into my real life activities. I want to find places irl near me that looks like they could be from each of Skyrims hold (for pics) I got a few ideas, but most require specific conditions, so I must wait.

It may not look it due to the trees skewing the scale since they're big, but this waterfall is over 200ft. Great little hike to see it and another 200ft waterfall nearby

I went on a hike this morning, the river lowered the smoke levels a bit and the trees kept the heat down. Lots of colors!

Hello, still alive! Lots of work and car problems so I've been getting out a lot less, but those are mostly fixed now. Here's the sunrise over a mountain lake 2 weeks ago

Lake surrounded by forest right as the sun is peaking over the horizon, leaving the sky mostly dark blue and forest black

Same lake as previous picture, but the sun has risen further making the clouds pink and yellow and the sky a lighter blue, all reflected in the water

There's 1 store here open 24 hojrs a day, and nothing beats going there at 2am when they dim the lights amd turn off the store music and theres only 3 other shoppers. They even have a toy you squeak to summon the cashier

I do NOT live in Silent Hill. Silent Hill has monsters in the fog, and when I asked the beings that reside within the fog here, they said being called mosters is offensive and prefer "creatures" or "entities" #Photography #Fog
