The amount of times I had to read people complaining about social programs…saying “no one wants to work anymore because the government gives them free money”. The “free money” is peanuts, not a living wage even. Pure hatred for people having a little more without having to humiliate themselves.

Because there it’s ok to be poor, as long as someone is poorer than you. No one wants to wash their own toilet - what are you supposed to do when there’s no one willing to do it anymore for next to nothing? Make them poor again,”put them in their place”. It is sad, and it is real.

I spent all morning trying to tell myself I shouldn’t care. I don’t live there anymore, I haven’t lived there long now. Fuck all. But I just cant stop caring for this shit broken place - and my parents are still there.

I voted for Lula yesterday. I didn’t sleep following this trainwreck live. The president vote is irrelevant now - the whole senate and congress were taken by the far right, an absolute collection of the shittiest people possible. Bolsonaro will leave jail, our justices will be replaced by puppets.
