iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Tom Brier received a Wikipedia article this year, and my video was cited among its sources. I am profoundly grateful and honored that my video contributed to one of my all-time favorite websites, alongside sources such as PBS. Thank you.

I think we can agree that for being in a closed-in ecosystem, Apple Notes have no right being as good of an app as it should. I hate that there's barely anything similar to it, too.

It's funny to think the 2008 recession lead to people moving from DVDs to Streaming, and now the 2026 economic crisis is leading people to go BACK to DVDs because they're cheaper. The irony never fails to astound me.

This, THIS! I'm all for it. Literacy should not be a luxury. Algorithms telling you to buy $100 book keychains (YES THOSE ARE REAL) shouldn't hold ANYONE back from their love of reading. There will always be free options! And always, ALWAYS go to your public library.

I've been fascinated by the illusion Apple put on their Macbooks being the "luxury" option, the ultimate "creator & productive" product. I've nearly fallen victim into that territory, questioning my perfectly fine tools, computer, or even worse, my workflow. It's a literal consumptive nightmare.

A random tip I wanted to share: Since forward slashes [ / ] are not allowed when you're naming a file, you can use the division slash [ ∕ ] to accommodate. Perfect for if a folder has two use cases, or if you're just really into Tyler, The Creator.

The Michael Jackson estate's YouTube channel updated Invincible's playlist a week ago. Might be nothing, but with the speculation of Invincible's 25th anniversary, this MIGHT turn into something.

Okay, but this works. On top of that, Blue's Clues just had some INSANE musical work. It's the bit 26 seconds with the F#, going into A then C, giving the song so much color. For a children's show, they had some fantastic music.

I don't trust K2. This being Microsoft's "apology tour" of an update still feels like something will pull the rug. And the fact that Microsoft devs are using Linux though Wine/Proton as a benchmark is detrimental. Keep downloading Linux, and keep your eyes open. Something weird is going on.

While I agree that the YouTube critic scene is an unforgiving landfill of scathing comments toward media, I think LS Mark gets a pass on how he handles his subject matter, even his ones of media I loved. And yes, he's made quite a few videos about liking stuff, even if it's an unpopular opinion.

Y'know with all of the AI that YouTube's been pushing to its users, how come they don't give us the option to disable a video's background music? I could watch some Minecraft tutorials without music if I have my own playlist going on, & it could probably help those who are overstimulated with music.

I kinda feel bad for Markiplier because it seems the internet treats him like a human soundboard, and it sounds like he’s getting really tired of the FNAF association. I genuinely hopes he loves what he’s doing & not just having to tolerate the new “nonchalant” generation.

Something I learned recently is that the CD-i isn't really the name of the device itself, but rather it's the name *of* the format they run on. It's part of the "Rainbow Books" standard that all CDs follow, like Red Book for a music CD and Orange Book for CD-R and CD-RW. The CD-i is the Green Book.

A Wikipedia article discussing the Rainbow Books, and the example image (right) is of the Green Book standard that CD-i follows.

If there's at least ONE thing you can give Big Bang Theory credit for, it's the reason Carrie Fisher & James Earl Jones got to meet in person for the first time, as James wasn't on the set of Star Wars when he voiced Darth Vader.

I find it funny that the Ghostbusters episode is not only one of the few times AVGN overlayed himself in front of the gameplay, but also one of the few times he's done ADR over his on-camera audio.

'The Whimsical World Of Daniel T.' has a long history that goes back to 2019. The original album artwork was a close-up of the eyes of my character Nessy. Eventually, that very same year, it would evolve into a pastiche of The Beatles' White Album with a solid-colored backdrop & tilted text.

I MUST make people aware that the Godot engine *has* demand for people to export their games to Nintendo 3DS. Multimedia Fusion & Unity have 3DS functionality, so I think Godot REALLY deserves it too, especially when interest in homebrewing & buying 3DS's have skyrocketed in recent years.
