Nostalgia mostly for the retired working class. They are saying about it: everyone has a job & house, we were the bread basket of Europe, industry was booming, etc. This nostalgia can be found in younger generations, because they ignore the problem of communism, the secret police.. 2/3

In Romania we have 2 nostalgia periods: interwar years, nostalgia mostly by intellectual people. They are saying about it: the last period of true thoughts and scholarship. Obsession with writers like Mircea Eliade, Emil Cioran, Eugene Ionesco. Second one is the communist era. 1/3
