Seems quite America focussed and nuinced. We have quite a service based economy compared to the USA. Not anti road just think this argument is less clear cut.

Feel quite bizarre given their voter base. Surely many of these bottom line here would be impacted. You wonder if some in reform realise who their voter actually are.

It wasn’t really only in 2022 was that significant, but they clearly do feel they can’t be painted as soft on migration with the core floating voter. Hence the OTT language.

The tube itself was largely built by the private sector. And that money that London generates is used to pay for U.Ks public services. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...

Here is a good example… Voss is a popular ski resorts, but you can take the train from Bergen every few hours, then jump directly onto the ski lift. Buses depart in the other side of the street.

Even if you apply it, and they even put it in a big red box. Really basic stuff to get wrong - the act was always foul play, head contact was made as the whistle had gone. So no mitigation.

And cities all have unique attractions based on their attributes - Exeter’s service based economy creates demand for well paid labour in the city centre and business parks who want to live in the attractive nearby town’s and has a good rail network. You can see this in CfC data.

Why an exception for Cornwall but not north Devon? Barnstaple/Bideford is bigger urban area than Truro or area in Cornwall. I know it’s centre for cities…. but it fails to really account the diversity and geography that exists in rural areas and just assumes you can appendage them without thought.

Or North Devon - no real economic connection to Exeter or Plymouth. Its own small cluster. If you wanted to match the geography here you’d allow it to worry about itself.
