Of the Storybook specifically, I don’t think so. Sadly the pictures I took on my phone for the video aren’t the best for all of them…… As I said I was like, a kid when I made that video LOL Internet Archive has scans for some guidebooks & mangas tho, just type in Brandish and you‘ll get results.

Daniel Movie Productions @danielmp06.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

I can’t say for sure what the exact criticisms for the Storybook are because I haven’t heard much of them (that or I just don’t remember) but iirc I think the climax has something written at the end that contradicts Brandish 2 coming into the continuity of the overall series? Don’t quote me on that

Daniel Movie Productions @danielmp06.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Oh yeah, there’s definitely pictures. This was a few years ago when I uploaded it but I do happen to also have the Brandush Storybook. It looks cool but I don’t fully know what happens in it… I hope this video helps, though! youtu.be/b4z54Xcyn8Q?...

One of the biggest gems I forgot I made on my channel in the past may be when I decided to do a Brandish Breaking Bad parody where I cosplayed both Ares and Dee and made them act like Walt and Jesse. Maybe Ares and Dee cooking needs to be the plot of Brandish 5 when it comes out. #Brandish

A screenshot of one of my older YouTube videos. It featured myself cosplaying both Ares Toraernos and Dee from Brandish 1-3 and Brandish VT/4 respectively. This scene was based off the one from Breaking Bad where Walter asks Jesse to cook and Ares was in Walt’s place and Dee was in Jesse’s.

cool shirt design #brandish

grayscale chibi drawing of ares toraernos (varik) and dela delon (alexis) from brandish (falcom). ares and dela are standing very close to each other, with dela slightly in front of him. she has one leg kicked behind her and is holding a ball of magic. ares has a flat expression, and dela is visibly angry. ares is wearing a t-shirt that says, “I MAY BE NON VERBAL, BUT MY GIRLFRIEND AIN’T, REMEMBER THAT!” (added commas to the description for emphasis, but the shirt had no commas on it).

-the one sprite of his back facing towards the player (and I don’t know if there is any art of Martial Artist Ares, there isn’t any that exist to my knowledge though) Hopefully I can get around to doing a render of this design take instead of just going off of the quick Hero Forge mockup I did…

Daniel Movie Productions @danielmp06.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

This is also something I’ve wondered and I’ve been meaning to do it myself as well, but I need to just actually get off my lazy ass and do it 😭 Anyways— it isn’t much but this is my fun take on Martial Artist Ares. Kinda hard to tell what his exact design is because I was only able to ever find-

vibrant colored pencil drawing of ares (aka varik) and gadobistall from brandish (nihon falcom). ares (standing to the bottom left) holds the planet buster and is using barrier and double magic. he looks towards gadobistall (top of page), who is partially shrouded by haze and clouds of smoke.

karl cares as depicted in the brandish 2: the planet buster sfc guidebook. this is from the enemy list section. he’s drawn relatively realistically here.

scan of the same drawing. my scanner didn’t register the flat gray tone from the original drawing.

Uhhh I‘m bored, anyone wanna do uh… A fun Brandish fact thing about yourself or something? A fun fact about me is that I am the one who made Ares’ page on Falcom Wiki! I… Should really finish adding what I need to with that at some point… Life and other projects have gotten in the way… #Brandish

After seeing the new Brandish comic that dropped, I had to make a transparent render for Ares aurafarming again. Made some fun edit variations as well where his pants is correctly colored blue again + alt where he’s wielding Planet Buster. May not be the best but hope y’all enjoy #Brandish2

Original render; only work I did here was extend the sword blade and left shoulder pauldron to not look cut off by the page.

Edit where Ares’ pants are colored blue instead of brown.

Edit where Ares’ pants are colored blue and he is wielding the Planet Buster as a sword this time. The Planet Buster seen here is also in the same comic from a different panel.

I think it’s possible his last name is actually meant to be “Caless”, iirc that’s what the PC98 patch refers to him by. Personally I think it fits him, it sounds royal enough for Karl

Daniel Movie Productions @danielmp06.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

WOAH, this was unexpected for me to see. Karl is such an under appreciated character in Brandish so I did not even know this official art of him existed. Would it be okay if you showed off the full comic in the Brandish 2 guidebook? I’ve never come across that either and I’m very invested………
