The last two years have felt like constant pauses and restarts. It’s frustrating, but my goal is to keep my momentum going, as best I can. Anyway, here’s a picture of my studio for the next year!

I have been trying to persuade myself to write music that is explicitly conceived as being pleasing to my senses, something I've only managed a couple of times - here's an example for solo harp that I wrote for/with the assistance of @daniellekuntzharp.bsky.social youtu.be/lwPqCtcs9nI

Working on updating (cleaning up) some of my old notation guides on my blog. All of the examples were created in Sibelius. Since I no longer use Sibelius, I’m getting a crash course on harp notation in Musescore! (Spoiler: despite the learning curve, I like Musescore better.) #composeharp #notation

If all my best ideas could come when I have time to work on them and not when I’m in the middle of moving with two tiny kids, that would be great lol

Decided I can justify adding Bluesky since I deleted two other social apps off my phone 🥳 Hoping to see some familiar faces that I’ve been missing elsewhere!
