I couldn’t be more proud of my dad. He released his first book of short stories this year, something he’s been wanting to do since I was small. What an accomplishment for him! Plus, it looks great tucked into my signed book shelf. #booksky #readingcommunity #writingcommunity

No, stop giving me hope. Actually, it’s kind of a nice feeling.

I played music with actual musicians yesterday for the first time in 15 years, and holy shit it was incredible. This is not a music account, but it may be shortly. Long live live music!

Honestly, that would have been the coolest part of a lot of teams seasons. It just feels like icing on the cake for this Rocks team.

The coolest moment of the Rockies season was seeing a dude have a multi home run game to reach 60 home runs.

COMMENTARY: I want to take my kids to a Rockies game. But I also don’t want to enable Rockies ownership to keep fielding horrendous teams. How sad is that?

The really annoying thing here is the inevitable framing of this as a heartwarming story that all involved are proud of bringing to reality, instead of something dark and shameful that everyone should be drawing as little attention to as possible.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but I struggle because of the forced trade and the fact that he was blind drunk at a Kanye concert before a playoff game (second hand story but from people I trust)

I while I prefer to focus on the series at hand, I can’t help but look forward. Are we, Avs fans, going for the blues? It’s so hard to cheer for ol’ Bungington, I don’t know if I can do it.

After: I combined a Railhammer Nuevo 90 Humcutter neck and Chisel in the bridge. I don’t know if this combo works with the current pots. The bridge sounds killer, but the neck sounds quiet and with a lot of hum. It likely needs a true setup again, but I’m stoked I’m getting sound at all.

Maybe corny but it was helpful for me to hear Henry Rollins saying "this is not time to be dismayed, this is punk rock time, this is what Joe Strummer trained you for... You can be thunderous in your own life, to the eight people around you. That rubs off... Goodness is viral"
