Important note about this breakthrough: Literally would not exist without the kind of Federal support the current administration is slashing. Took 15+ years of research at a federal lab (Lawrence Berkeley) to get this to a point at which private enterprise could take over and make these at scale.

Trump will crash our economy, he and other billionaires will buy up assets cheaply & China will be the global superpower. I work for a Chinese owned firm so maybe we survive the crash? Wealth inequality has destroyed this country.

The levels of political polarization, wealth inequality, etc. are all at levels that in other countries signify a political collapse or descent into mass political violence. It should be worrying that even a staunch Trump supporting veteran saw collapse coming despite Trump running.

1/ Egg prices are what they notice. And they also notice increases for milk (25%) bread (30%) juice (32%) etc. the attitude you're expressing is how Dems lose voters. Just because aggregate wages for the working poor have increased at a higher rate than those for the top quintile is irrelevant

I worked at Big Lots as a seasonal worker some years ago. 1) they weren't any cheaper than Walmart for home goods 2) they sold a lot of reject inventory like weird chip flavors & off brand candies 3) their target customer "Jennifer" a stay at home mom w/ a small business has more income than ever
