This is rhetorical exaggeration, not accuracy. Fascism is a serious historical label not a synonym for "things I hate about nationalists or executives I oppose." Trumpism has illiberal/authoritarian elements that warrant scrutiny (as do excesses from any side).

A free press even when biased, sloppy, or partisan is the actual historical check on propaganda. Letting one administration “kill the cancer” of the other side’s media is how you guarantee the real cancer wins state-controlled truth.

National parks exist to educate and unite us with accurate history not to shame anyone or push politics. Why can't we replace one-sided displays with balanced ones that give every American the full truthful picture?

Slavery was a horrific part of American history. It must be taught honestly and fully in our national parks no one should erase or downplay it. At the same time, the exhibits should tell the whole story.
