FYI I don’t use the term ethically non-monogamous because I don’t think people get to label themselves or their relationships ethical. In fact I find that concept super weird. I just say non-monogamous.

To me, Andor is the perfect example of how constraints can help artists. It's essentially a French Revolution saga forced into Star Wars' childlike logic. That limitation, plus compressing years into one season, made Gilroy craft and distill and hone everything. 1/2

Review for Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir - It was fine. Propulsive and dripping with science, but the whole time felt like a retelling of The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton. It has already evaporated from my memory. The ending was very unsatisfying, and not in a way that felt intentional.
