Eirika gave Vice his name after defeating him in battle. Before that, he went only by his title: "Viceroy." (Yes she just shortened his title. She's not very creative, but it amuses him so there are no complaints).

Funny thing abt Vice as a vampire is that Eirika doesn't actually bleed. The first and only time he's tried to feed off her, after getting a mouth full of magic chlorophyll instead of blood, he merely laughs in delight and says, "You truly never disappoint."

First meeting #wol:eirika #vampire:vice

The moon eclipses the sun. Fire can be seen all around. In the middle of the battlefield kneels a vampire, demonic wings spread behind him. Long black hair falls over his shoulders and down his back. He has a hand braced on the ground, unsteady. He is not the victor of this fight. He bows his head, awaiting punishment.

In front of him is the victor, the Warrior of Light. Uninjured, she is on her knees for the sole purpose of meeting the vampire's lowered gaze. She lifts a hand to rest it on his cheek. This is not his end, but a new beginning.

Vice gives her a sideways glance. Dryly, he says, "There are only so many times a man can clean his boots of mud before going mad, Eirika. I shall wait right here, thank you."
