One of my favorite dogs of all time was a Greyhound rescue named Ceta. She had mange when I got her, and her hair was falling out in clumps. She looked hideous, but she healed very fast and was the most beautiful red brindle imaginable, and an absolute sweetheart.

I like this guy. I hope a majority of Texans do, too.

I’m also sick of people putting the blame on the Mets pitching coach. He did a great job with McLean, Scott, Thornton and Tong. He turned the Mets bullpen into one of the best—then when they all got traded, the new guys did even better. But he was the reason Peralta shit the bed? C’mon, man.
