Last weekend we saw local legend, (friend and neighbor) three time Grammy winner Fantastic Negrito at Davies Symphony Hall, performing with the Sam Francisco Symphony Orchestra. Ran into the legendary Boots Riley (rapper turned prolific director) in the lobby afterward. I love Oakland!

Incomprehensible in this day and age to get an error message like this when trying to open a PowerPoint deck in SharePoint.

I HIGHLY recommend Not Like Other Girls by @ghoulpus.bsky.social ! Delicious prose, reminiscent of LeGuin in its ability to make you ponder the role of gender in society. Absolutely loved it (and wanted more)!

I had so much fun hanging with @kelseyhightower.com last week at our .NEXT conference. As always, spending time with him means laughing, learning, and trying to gather as many pearls of wisdom as possible.

I've splurged on front row seats twice in my life (both for the kids): Frozen on Ice and the Harlem Globetrotters. Can't TELL you how 'worth it' it was! And a FRACTION of what those seats would cost for a concert or NBA game. Forget the boxes, proximity is fantastic!
